Volume 4, Issue 2 published!

The SLJ Executive Board is pleased to announce that Volume 4, Issue 2 of the SOAS Law Journal has been published, and is now available to download here.

In this Issue, we shed light on issues such as: reforms to the laws concerning minor marriages in Bangladesh, the constitutionality of the 99-year lease in Zimbabwe, the classification of the 1988 Jakarta mass rape of ethnic Chinese women as genocide, and the appointment of ad-hoc judges in ICJ proceedings, among others. We are proud to be publishing works of such rich diversity and from authors as passionate about contemporary issues as ours are.

We would like to thank Professor Carol Tan, Head of the SOAS School of Law, for providing us with a thoughtful and perceptive foreword, and for her support and kindness throughout our work on the Journal. We would also like to thank our authors and editors, who have worked tirelessly to produce this Issue, for their determination, patience, and vision.

We hope these articles provide for a stimulating intellectual experience, and would also like to wish you all a merry Christmas & a happy New Year!
